New SOEP team member Anika Rasner

We are pleased to welcome a new member of the SOEP team: Anika Rasner will be working on the project LAW (Lebenswandel und Alterssicherung im Wandel, lifestyle and retirement provisions in changing times), financed by the VW Foundation, in which DIW Berlin is working together with the German Centre of Gerontology (DZA) and the German Pension Insurance Fund. Her main activities will be to perform statistical matching of the three databases: SOEP, the Old-Age Survey, and the VSKT. She will also update the earnings and family biographies in the SOEP survey. Before joining the SOEP team, Anika worked at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, and most recently for the German Pension Insurance Fund.
