On Thursday 4 November, the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) will hold an EU side event together with the World Resources Institute, Perspectives Climate Group, Frankfurt School and Climate Action Network on climate financing at the COP26.
Leading European researchers will present their latest insights into aligning international financial flows with the goals of the Paris Agreement.

We are delighted to announce that Tasneem Essop, Executive Director of CAN-International, will join the session as guest speaker.
Tasneem Essop has just completed serving her second term as Commissioner in the National Planning Commission in South Africa, appointed by the President, and leads the work on Climate Change and the Just Transition. She previously headed the climate team in WWF International and served as the Head of Delegation for the organisation at the UNFCCC.
