SOEP at the DGPs Congress (Vienna, September 16-19, 2024)

The 53rd Congress of the German Psychological Society (DGPs) and the 15th Conference of the Austrian Psychological Society (ÖGP) will be held jointly from September 16 to 19, 2024 at the University of Vienna, Austria, under the theme “Menschen, Mitwelt, Medien” - several SOEP employees will also be on site to present their research with SOEP data:

  • Emilija Meier-Faust will give a presentation on Thursday, September 19, at 8:15 a.m. on her paper “Same but different? Measurement Invariance of a Big Five Short Scale across Socioeconomic Background” (co-author is Sandra Bohmann) as part of the symposium ‘Measurement Methods and Approaches to Invariance; Measurement Methods’.
  • Isabel Gebhardt will present her poster on Monday, September 16, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. entitled “A Brother to bother? Using a natural experiment to assess effects of sibling gender on women's gender role attitudes” (co-author is Julia M. Rohrer from the University of Leipzig).
  • Theresa Entringer and two colleagues from the Knowledge Transfer Department (Janina Britzke and Verena Neumann) will also be on site for the entire four days and look forward to seeing you at our SOEP stand.
