The Department of Climate Policy at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) is hiring
a Postdoctoral Researcher
in Economics or Finance with a background in energy
to participate in research activities of long-term research projects on power market design.
Candidates should hold a PhD in economics or a related discipline combined with a strong track-record of economic analysis. Successful applicants will bring their profound knowledge of applied micro economics, organizational behavior or finance and a strong interest in energy policy to the team. This background should ideally be documented by peer reviewed publications or strong future publication potential. Fluency in English is required.
The position is available initially for 3 years. The salary will be determined in accordance with the German public sector TVÖD scale (EG 14). DIW Berlin is committed to the goals of equal opportunities.
