Adrián is a Ph.D. student at the DIW Berlin Graduate Center and the University of Potsdam since October 2020. He obtained both his Master's and Bachelor's degree at the University of Mannheim. Adrián's research interests lie in the fields of climate and environmental economics, applied microeconometrics and policy evaluation. His current research focuses on the analysis of causes and effects of air pollution and the evaluation of climate policy measures in the transportation sector. Before joining DIW, Adrián worked as a research assistant for the Chair of Quantitative Economics and the Chair of Econometrics at the University of Mannheim. In addition, he gained professional experience at the Directorate-General for Climate Action of the European Commission in Brussels and at the economic consultancy Frontier Economics in Madrid.
