Thomas Rieger

Thomas joined the DIW GC as a PhD student and scholarship recipient in 2022. After studying Philosophy & Economics for his BA in Bayreuth and St Andrews, he completed his MSc in Economics at Humboldt University of Berlin. In his master’s thesis, Thomas studied the individualization of wealth in Germany and its implications for the gender wealth gap. His primary interests are in the fields of socio-economic inequality and political economy.
