Thomas has been a doctoral student at the DIW Graduate Center since October 2022. Since October 2023, he is working in the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) division. His research focus lies on the consequences of and remedies to German spatial economic inequality. Before joining SOEP, Thomas worked at the OECD, at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, and -- thus closing the circle -- at SOEP.
