Thibault has been a Research Associate in the Climate Policy Department since October 2025. His research focuses on electricity markets and industry decarbonisation. He enjoys analysing energy policies through the lens of decision and game theories. In 2025, he completed a doctorate in energy economics at Université Paris Dauphine–PSL, in partnership with the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission.
