(part-time work as well as employment contracts with two of the given Institutions are possible, an extension is only possible for a maximun of six years)

Applicants from all fields of economics and finance are invited to apply. Each of the  positions will be hosted and administered by one of the three institutions. The search committee consists of staff from each of the three institutions and will consider all applicants for each position. Successful candidates at DIW Berlin or WZB will contribute part of their time to long-term research projects. Successful candidates at HU will contribute part of their time to teaching at the Master and Bachelor level. All successful candidates will contribute to teaching at the PhD level. Teaching at Master and PhD levels is in English. The main focus of all positions is academic research.

Successful candidates should hold a PhD in economics or a closely related discipline. Ideally, candidates should have a strong research interest, educational background and research experience in one or multiple of the following sub-fields: econometrics, economic theory, behavioral and experimental economics, corporate finance, macroeconomics, public economics and applied microeconomics.

Applicants should submit a statement outlining their research plans and their motivations for joining at least one of the three institutions, a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of degree certificates, and teaching evaluations if available. Applicants are required to organize the separate submission of two academic letters of recommendation.
