Transport in figures 2025-2029

For more than 50 years now, “Verkehr in Zahlen” (ViZ) has been the standard reference work for transport statistics in Germany. The compendium contains around 380 pages of current figures and time series on all relevant topics in the fields of mobility and transport.

The content ranges from annual figures on infrastructure investment to data on transport infrastructure, accidents, traffic volume and performance, as well as information on the daily mobility behavior of Germans and emissions. This wealth of data is rounded off by a chapter with key figures that compare Germany with other European countries.
