The workshop covers presentations of both methodological and applied contributions on the frontier of research in quantitative macroeconomics, with a focus on empirical research. The event is organized with the support of the Departments of Macroeconomics and Forecasting of DIW Berlin, the School of Business & Economics of Freie Universität Berlin, and BERA (Berlin Economics Research Associates).
