Since May 2023, Teresa Schildmann supports the Department of Macroeconomics as Research Associate and is in particular responsible for the coverage of public finance in the forecasting team. Previously, she was in charge of labor market forecasting. After obtaining her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Bonn, she pursued her doctoral studies at the Goethe University Frankfurt. Previous professional positions were at the German Central Bank and the European Central Bank. In her research, she primarily studies labor supply decisions of households in the wake of the challenges implied by an ageing society and the impact of fiscal stance on inflation in European economies.
