Themistoklis is a PhD Candidate in the Firms and Markets Department at the Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Berlin (DIW Berlin). He holds an MSc in Economics, a MSc in Epidemiology and Research Methodology, as well as a BSc in Mathematics. He worked as a Mathematics teacher in Greece and as a Research Associate (Pre-doc) at DIW before the start of his PhD. His research is primarily concentrated on empirical industrial organization and health economics. More precisely, he has been conducting research on topics related to tax pass-through, voter behavior, market definition, Meta-analysis and Molecular Epidemiology.
