Postdoc (f/m/nonbinary), full-time at 39 hours per week, part-time possible, starting from September 1st, 2023.
Main responsibilities
- Conducting high-level research in the field of microeconomics, preferably labor economics.
- Teaching the introductory mathematics course and Econometrics I in the structured doctoral program of the Graduate Center and the Berlin School of Economics (BSE), a joint doctoral program of the Berlin universities.
- Assisting the Graduate Center Team with the recruiting process of future cohorts of PhD students.
- Research with SOEP data and contributing to its improvement and usability.
Qualifications
- PhD or nearly completed PhD in economics.
- Basic knowledge in scientific teaching.
- A sound knowledge of mathematics and econometrics.
- Experience in micro-econometrics and panel-data econometrics.
- Experience in the design and use of surveys.
- Applicants must demonstrate the ability to make a significant contribution to academic research and policy analysis.
- Publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
- Excellent knowledge of English and German.
- Ability to work in dynamic and international teams.
- Ability to work independently.

Salary will be paid based on TVöD group 14. The position is limited to 6 years.
