Successful candidates at HU will contribute part of their time to teaching at the Master and Bachelor level. Successful candidates at DIW Berlin or WZB will contribute to teaching at the PhD level. Teaching at Master and PhD levels is in English. The main focus of all positions is academic research.
Successful candidates should hold a PhD in economics or a closely related discipline. Ideally, candidates should have a strong research interest, educational background and research experience in one or multiple of the following sub-fields: econometrics, economic theory, behavioral and economics, finance, macroeconomics, public economics, industrial organization, energy and climate economics and applied microeconomics.
Applicants should submit a statement outlining their research plans and their motivations for joining at least one of the three institutions, a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of degree certificates, and teaching evaluations if available. Applicants are required to organize the separate submission of two academic letters of recommendation.
