Tana is a doctoral student at the Graduate Centre. She started out at the DIW in May 2023 as a predoc at the Entrepreneurship Research Group. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s Degree in International Economics from the University of Tübingen. Her research interests predominantly relate primarily to applied microeconomics. After her undergraduate studies, she was a research assistant for the School of Economics at the University of Nottingham and worked on a project concerning management practices and firm performance. During her time at the University of Tübingen, she was a student assistant for the Department of Economic History. In her master’s thesis, she examined the role of non-homothetic preferences and demand similarities in characterizing the global patterns of foreign direct investment.
