Forschungsthemen und Arbeitsbereiche

Dr. Elena Sommer arbeitet als Survey Managerin im SUARE Projekt (Längschnittstudie zu Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine in Deutschland). Vor Ihrer Tätigkeit beim SOEP war sie beim Survey of Health, Ageing, and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) und beim European Social Survey (ESS) im Bereich Fragebogenentwicklung und Survey Operations beschäftigt. Sie hat in Köln und Birmingham Geographie studiert und an der Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) in Sozialwissenschaften promoviert. Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt im Bereich Survey Methodology, Migration, Sozialkapital und Intergenerationale Beziehungen.
