Antonia Kurz is a Research Associate in the Climate Policy Department. Her research focuses on the decarbonisation of industrial sectors, developing tools to reduce emissions in the context of trade and market power. Her work includes studying the effects of carbon pricing policies on trade patterns and the implications of monopolistic supply in critical minerals markets for the green transition. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Vrije Universiteit and Tinbergen Institute Amsterdam and was supervised by Prof. Dr. Carolyn Fischer and Dr. Gerard van der Meijden.
