Felix Mergenhagen has been a doctoral researcher at the DIW Graduate Center since 2025. He holds a Master’s degree from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg. His research explores how access to energy and transportation infrastructure shapes economic development and welfare, combining micro-empirical methods with spatial and infrastructure modeling.
