Forschungsthemen und Arbeitsbereiche

Philipp Lersch ist Professor für Soziologie der Sozialpolitik am Institut für Sozialwissenschaften der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin und Forschungsgruppenleiter am Deutschen Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW Berlin). Seine Forschung beschäftigt sich mit sozialen Ungleichheiten zwischen und innerhalb von Lebensverläufen von Individuen in unterschiedlichen institutionellen Kontexten mit einem Fokus auf die Familie, Vermögen und den Arbeitsmarkt. Er arbeitet meist mit längsschnittlichen Umfragedaten.
