German Socio-Economic Panel study
Neil Murray has been a research associate at the German Institute for Economic Research in the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) since 2021. He received his doctoral degree in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin in 2025. His research interests focus on the determinants and economic implications of decision-making under risk and uncertainty. As head of the RDCnet project, which is part of KonsortSWD, he works on strengthening cooperation in empirical social and economic research and on sustainably improving access to research data.
