Since May 2023, Teresa Schildmann supports the Department of Macroeconomics as Research Associate and is in particular responsible for the coverage of the labour market in the forecasting team. After obtaining her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Bonn, she pursued her doctoral studies at the Goethe University Frankfurt. Previous professional positions were at the German Central Bank and the European Central Bank. In her research, she primarily studies labour supply decisions of households in the wake of the challenges implied by an ageing society and the impact of shocks on the employment dynamics of small- and medium-sized firms in Europe.
